Tianjin realizes the extension of green electricity services to the upstream of the high-end manufacturing industry chain

The reporter learned from State Grid Tianjin Electric Power Company that recently, State Grid (Tianjin) TIANJIN RUIXIN TECHNOLOGY CO.，LTD signed a tripartite long-term green power procurement contract with Tianjin Ruixinchang Technology Co., Ltd. and Tianjin Yinghua New Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd. This is the first time that Tianjin has extended green power services to the upstream of the industrial chain. It is expected that the annual green power trading capacity can reach 13 million kilowatt hours and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 8000 tons.

 TIANJIN RUIXIN TECHNOLOGY CO.，LTD is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the research, development, production, and sales of industrial precision aluminum alloy components. It is also the upstream core device supplier of Danfoss (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. In November 2023, State Grid (Tianjin) Comprehensive Energy Service Co., Ltd., Danfoss (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., and Tianjin Yinghua New Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd. signed the first 10-year green power procurement contract for the State Grid system. The Danfoss Industrial Park located in Wuqing, Tianjin has achieved full green electricity supply. In the first quarter of 2024, a total of 1.04 million kilowatt hours of green electricity were used, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 6300 tons.

In order to further expand the development of green energy service enterprises and extend the high-end manufacturing industry chain upstream and downstream, State Grid (Tianjin) Comprehensive Energy Services Co., Ltd. actively promotes the long-term green energy cooperation agreement between Tianjin Yinghua New Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd. and Tianjin Ruixinchang Technology Co., Ltd. After the contract was signed, Tianjin Ruixinchang Technology Co., Ltd. purchased green electricity from Tianjin Yinghua New Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd. through State Grid (Tianjin) Comprehensive Energy Service Co., Ltd. for its fishing and photovoltaic complementary project production, achieving the full application of green electricity in enterprise production and operation.

Liu Guocai, Deputy General Manager of TIANJIN RUIXIN TECHNOLOGY CO.，LTD, said, "While providing high-quality products, we actively build green production channels, meet the needs of energy conservation and emission reduction, meet carbon emission audit requirements, effectively reduce EU carbon tax collection, and improve corporate competitiveness."

Shi Jian, the production manager of Tianjin Yinghua New Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd., introduced that the company's annual power generation of the fishery solar complementary project invested and constructed in Tianjin is about 184 million kilowatt hours. As a new energy generation enterprise, it will promote the green transformation of high energy consuming enterprises through green electricity trading, and assist in the construction of a green and low-carbon city in Tianjin.
